Rich in vitamin A and long advocated as a weaning food, I’ve always thought that lamb’s liver would be a home run if I could ever remember to get it from the butcher. My mother, however, likes nothing more than liver and onions, so it was she who tried it out on Babybear first. Apparently it was a score draw. She chewed it a bit and then put it down. However, she bravely put it back into her mouth no less than eight times during the course of the meal, so she evidently wanted to like it.

Now, apropos of nothing I would just like to irrelevantly state that my daughter can now say the word ‘bubbles’ as clear as day and it’s simply the cutest thing I’ve ever heard.
