The good news, which I must impart quickly as I have a gazillion things to do, is that rather than ‘raising awareness of Toxic Shock Syndrome’, www.bodykind.com is taking 10% off Mooncups and other re-usable sanpro. CHANGED MY LIFE, seriously. Like, SERIOUSLY.
To give you an idea of how amazing these products are (once you get over the squicky element and get the hang of Putting Them In), might I link you to the TWENTY-NINE page thread on the forum where they are being discussed by normal human women who have normal human periods and have tired of sticking wodges of polyester and rayon up their nethers? Voila!

I am afraid to tweet this to my followers – but you are HILARIOUS!
they will be FOREVER GRATEFUL, i assure you.
I have used a Mooncup for 3 yrs now and have converted most of my friends – one of my friends died from TSS when we were in high school, she was only 16 (over 20 yrs ago). Also, think how more environmentally friendly this is and perfect for travelling where sanitation may be tricky- as long as you have it in nice and snug it won’t leak and will last the day – my friends love this for travels in India and Asia! If you haven’t – try it – my only advice is to trim the stem gradually, the first one i did too short, and if it’s a bit too long you can feel it! Happy Mooncupping! :)
Oh my goodness well i can see why you are such an evangelist, given that you lost a pal to TSS, how absolutely tragic. I love mine too but so far my conversion rate is poor…
I love my Mooncup too. But my Fleurcup REALLY changed my life. 30ml capacity. Oh yes. It laughed in the face of my first period post-childbirth :-)
