Especially in light, I think, of the Andy Gray sexism thing. Of course it’s bad what he did, of course he should be sacked (and of COURSE he was going to be sacked the minute he took his boss to court). But what is it about the world that means that part of his colleague’s job description includes stripping down to a silver metallic bikini and stilettoes and posing like a hooker?

I’ve only just seen this. Seriously thanks for posting it. The media and therefore society’s downer on women not only in the US but across the Western world is so degrading and destructive.

i did, actually, and i followed her on twitter for a while because i thought she made some nearly-good points… the article was discussed on MN and gia actually showed up and had a big fight, all a bit embarrassing really.
Very interesting, will be forwarding it to my teenage daughter (and my husband, all my sisters, and all my pals…..)
i think it’s a good clip. short enough and choppy enough to deliver the message without preaching.
