So far today, my toddler has eaten

Oh, we're done with all that vegetable-steaming and mess, our children are cutlery-wielding, spaghetti-chomping angels... at least some of the time.

So far today, my toddler has eaten

his weight in watermelon, 2 whole tomatoes, 2.5 crumpets with a tiny bit of honey, half a carrot and a small cup of soy milk. He wasn't interested in the curry I reheated for lunch, and just wanted more crumpet.

How is it possible he's not hungry? There's not a lot of filling stuff there at all.

Is it hot over there atm? (I have NO idea, sorry!) - Roo only wants to eat fruit and stuff if it's hot.....

It is, even though it's still Spring. Since then, he's eaten another tomato, and the remaining .5 of the crumpet. Hopefully he'll eat some dinner, it's steak and salad so suitably light.

M is quite a bit younger but hasn't eaten much the last three days. She is still breastfeeding though so I think she makes up for it.

It was so hot here today, it was the funniest day! Never though the heat could affect their eating but I suppose that makes sense!

Meerkat, he ate a huge dinner. He wanted yoghurt, but it was almost ready and I held him off. Then he ate his full plate of steak, potatoes, salad and wanted yoghurt afterwards and a watermelon ice block.

I guess maybe he felt thirsty and it was nicer to eat those watery foods than not?

I thought you were going to say that's a lot! For my dd2, same age, she has eaten a few spoonfuls of Raisin Wheats, 1/4 apple, some brazil nuts and 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter. But she's tiny and a small eater! She goes through phases of having more and less, maybe he's having a less phase?
