Update: after big argument between DH & FIL they have changed the venue. We are all going up & back on the Sunday with Bruno & kitten. Special London sticker / activity books on order for Bruno. Kitten hates the car & it's 3 hr drive. Stress alert & I will be having a G&t on arrival!!

I'm starting to consider a name change too but I'm attached to my name!

B&M yay for a venue change but you have my deepest sympathies re the car journey. Even at 8mths tomorrow if Little m doesn't fall asleep in the car all hell breaks loose! What about using her night time bottle before the journey instead?

Blossom, it doesn't really - it's just that if anyone knows my old user name they'd be able to find me very quickly; by changing it it'd slow them down a bit. Not fooling myself, I'd get found again soon enough, but as I say, it'd take a little bit more effort. I guess the only way really is to create a completely new account and ensure no references to the old name. That's why I created a whole new ID for the issue(!) this time last year - I know my mum knew my original userid at the time, and probably a few other members of my family.

B&M, what a nightmare. Hope it's uneventful on the day, and definitely yes to the G&T!

Right well just in time for family party kitten has her first cold so a bit off / on re bf'ing! Bruno & I had it earlier in the week so just have a runny nose. Great timing!

After much deliberation I decided that I couldn't cope with certain uncles oggling at my breasts so have borrowed one of those bf'ing cover / cape things. I was dead against them at the start but a room full of strangers is more preferable to Uncle Bob!

We are going to take a bottle for the journey home .

And by the way there's hope re the car: little m falls asleep now (well he did on both hour long journeys yesterday) and wakes up quite happy. Thank God! Hope today's not as bad as you fear.

I've used my udder cover once to bf in a bookshop and four times to pump in public! I have to travel to NY again next month so will need to pump on the train again.
