Now to decide whether I can do it on the train or take the car!

I think we should stick with Knowle park. It was really nice last time...unless anyone is coming without a car...speak now. I can always pick up from the train station if necessary - 2 spare seats in my bus.

8th August is a Monday. Would Thursday 11th be better???

ok - so the 11th is actually like the only day in August i can't do - looking after a friends kid whilst she has hospital appointment - are thursdays best? Can i suggest the 18th or 25th?

I can't do 25th as we'll be going to visit San Francisco. 18th is better.

Sorry girls, I'll be pitching camp at Beautiful Days festival on 18th, so I'll miss you. Could do next Thursday or Friday, but not the two weeks after that as we're building a er, 'mulitcentre' camping trip around the festival.

Eurgh, is it? I Was thinking 11ish then picnic - is there a non-wet alternative?

Oh no. Is there a cafe or anything there we could shelter *if* <she says hopefully> it does rain??

Yes I think the NT cafe was really near where we picnic'd last time wasn't it? Just down the slope near those loos??

yeah it's down a slope and by the loos to the left of the house as you arrive.

Not sure where you were last time but there is a fallen tree about 100m from the cafe,(on your left as you walk down to cafe) kids tend to like to climb it and it provides some seating. It is also quite sheltered in a dip - is that a good place to meet if the weather stays fine?

Also just FYI i think parking is free for NT members but gone up to £4 (i think) for none members
