ooh charliesmummy i could have written your post for you ! we're having similar issues at 10 months.
Shorty has completely given up on veg, and even fruit is now getting mushed up and chucked to the dog, - a few weeks ago a ripe pear was a sure fire hit.
DOesn't help when your parents disagree with your methods, just makes you feel like shit.
I am trying to stay positive as must you = we've gone down this route, and really there isn't any turning back, is there. Shorty refuses all spoons now, even loaded ones which previously were a hit. He has also developed the special technique of spitting / pushing food out with his tongue. So everytime i cheer for the solitary piece of carrot he's pushed in with his little fist, i wind up crying when he pushes it out again !
Trying to be chilled about it, because he HAS gone through these phases before. 2 weeks ago he couldn't shovel enough in and had dropped both daytime bfeeds. He's been crawling for the last few weeks, and pulling up and just generally being really busy - it's almost like he's too busy to even want to bother feeding these days, and that goes for his milk as well.
I would say, like aitch, don't bother cooking specially for them - i've mved shorty's tea to 6pm from 5 and now we all eat as a family together which is really nice. I'm hanging on in there with ya gal !! Charlie will get there, as will shorty i'm sure !
