The next Southcoasters meet up!

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

The next Southcoasters meet up!

Hi all...

Thursday 15th November in Winchester? How does that sound for people? If this date is no good, I'm sure we can find another. Puddleduck and I feel very strongly that the meet up should involve cake! OR... we could even brave lunch this time???!!! :bsmile

How's this for a plan...

Let's go for Thursday 15th anyway (Winchester? Or if it is only Sheela and I, Sheela I will head to Andover/Salisbury).

And, then how about a couple of weeks later we go for Tuesday 27th? We can decide where based on who is coming.

Marvellous!

Ok... please post on here if you can make the 15th and/or 27th. :bsmile

What sort of time would you be thinking of meeting? My only problem with Thursdays is that we have a music class at 1.45 to 2.20 - just about the most inconvenient time to get anything else done that day. I wouldn't mind dropping a class, except we've missed several already and it's not a cheap course!

Tuesdays I work 9-2, though as I work from home I'm not averse to clocking off a bit early (and make up the time later of course). So I should be able to make the Southampton-ish area by 2.30ish if I drive.

Wednesdays tend to be my best day for getting out.

So I probably can't make the 15th, but maybe the 27th?

Let's add in Wednesday 21st as well so that Puddleduck can make it too. That's 3 consecutive weeks, but that's good for me. Nice to get out and about really.

THURSDAY 15th ~ Winchester (Sheela & loubylou so far) Time TBC

WEDNESDAY 21st ~ Near Puddleduck? Time TBC

TUESDAY 27th ~ Any venue??? Time TBC

What about Bournemouth possibly at some point as there are a few guys from that neck of the woods...

Ok, post which dates you can make :D

Phew we've been away for the week-end and I am still trying to catch up on this forum ... it never ends :o

I can do 15th and 27th, although both days afternoons only. Winchester is fine for me.

I too have been minus my computer during the days....and feel like I need a marathon session to catch up.....but from what I can gather the next one is.....

15th, Loubylou, Luca's mum & me

Winchester/Salisbury is great for me. Andover is probably closer....but there's little of interest going on there!!

So can't make 15th. Not sure about 21st - feel a bit  to try and arrange something just for my benefit. However, we can try and make 27th if it's in the afternoon, I'll just make up time with work elsewhere.

Also 27th is just after my thirty-<cough> birthday, so will be even more in need of cake, and commiserations!

Does anyone know anywhere good to go in Winchester? That would be the easiest place for me to get to.

There's a Cafe Nero on the High Street, only place I can think of that would be good for a meet-up, but it does tend to be quite busy in there.
