London calling...or, um, Mexico!

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

London calling...or, um, Mexico!

Just a little reminder that London is here even if T&N's mummy and I are the last remaining weaners in the city (right? and anyway, she's leaving soon).
If anyone does fancy a jaunt to the city, do let me know. Marrow tried once but we were selfishly on holiday.

Also, Mexico, bit closer for you North Americans, right? Totally expect you to land on my doorstep so I can take you out for some churros (as far as little croc is concerned this is why we're going to Mexico at all).

Would love to come to Mexico, but more realistically, we'll be in London for a week in late August. Is that after you leave?

Unfortunately North America is huge and I'm over on the East coast, so not much chance of us making it to Mexico! Would love to meet you all and easy churros though if it were closer.

SE London, right? If there's a possibility of meeting outside of the congestion zone, then I could come up with C (as long as it's not too early; we're not great at mornings). Depending on cars, weather, etc. I really hate public transport. Have got to get the train to go to The National on Fri night. By myself. Really not looking forward to that. But anyway, depending on what your plans are...

Me too. I'll be in Georgia in the early part of 2017 so closer than we've ever been, but still pretty far...

I vote Canada, not Mexico, strictly limited to the summer. I was going to insist on StJ coming to BC, but I think Treeb has the critical mass to pull us over towards Toronto. Niagara Falls meetup on the Rainbow Bridge? I have a good friend in Buffalo... :)

I think that might rule us out! We're NWers, and don't drive. Mind you, as long as it's somewhere near the Overground I can get there. Am well used to spending all day on public transport with my offspring.

Yum, churros! At least I'm on the right side of North America for Mexico (bit too far North though!). And all our spare travel money is spent getting us over the Atlantic, at which point we rarely venture into London.

Well clearly Canada has it. Sigh! I haven't been back since we left when I was 18 months old so could be interesting. I do actually really want to go to Canada and it's been discussed a number of times but clearly isn't for the near future, sadly.

But now, Lily and LL, a London meet in August? I have my kids on Mon, Thurs and Fri in August. We are free 4/5/11/12/18 August at the moment. Is that too early, Lily? We go to Spain for ten days on 20th.

And yes, we're SE London (LL, are you stalking me?) and would love to play.

Sadly we aren't in town till the 22nd. Oh well, I'll have to content myself with just the Midlanders' meet this summer.
