Midlanders 2016

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Looking forward to it! And thanks again for the offer of a lift, CT, but I've just checked the website and it turns out it's super easy on the bus from New St so we'll be fine.

Brill. We'll probably aim to be there between 10.30-11 depending on traffic. Will try to bring a picnic but depends how organised I am on the day! Can't wait :D

I assume this is the place we are aiming for:

Meet outside the entrance or inside?

Maybe best to go in, so we're not hanging about too much if we all arrive at slightly different times?

Thank you CT for your message, I haven't been on here in a while and had forgotten! Sorry. B has a swimming lesson 10:30-11 but we could come after that - we'd be there just before 12? Are you picnicking in the nature centre or the park?

:) Is there a place within the nature centre to have a picnic? Probably in there I would have thought to make the most of our tickets! I'll pm you my mobile if you want and then you can give us a call when you get there to see where we are?

There's picnic tables outside the cafe from memory.

Lovely to meet up today. Hope Iz and B got their playground fix Lily, and L was not far behind SM in the falling asleep stakes, Kc. D told his Dad he had a great day with his friends and the red pandas were his favourite animals!

SM liked the otters best. It was 8.30 before she fell asleep last night after having a nap in the car and they were both little monsters between getting home and bedtime but we had a lovely day so I reckon it was worth it. Particularly as they both slept through for the first time in forever.

Shame you couldn't make it PH, everything alright?

Wow, sleeping through, what a result!

We had a brilliant time too. V brief visit to the playground afterwards, and a lovely easy journey back. Iz's favourite was the lynx; I think I agree with him.

They were impressive. Think I might agree with Daniel though, love red pandas. The kids seemed to spend a long time looking at the Bingturong too, I'm surprised none of them chose him as favourite.
