Scotland meet up!

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Guys...have just called Wagamama's..the girl there said that around 1pm is right in the middle of lunch and we'd be better off going at 2pm or after!? If we go at one we'll prob have to wait to be seated! So looks like we'll just have to leave around 3.30 to get home! :?

Had a fab time with Katgold & Hubby (Kevgold  ), Gillan, Kafrin and all the bubba's! Thanks Kat for bringing your slings to give us a try..def have to invest in a Mei Tai and a Wrap now! (Yes..I have to have both! lol  ) Hope we can do it again sometime soon but obviously in a better venue! I would def not recommend Wagamama's again for a meet-up due to incompetent staff who give you all the wrong info?!!! :scream Was told 2 weeks ago that they had the facility for 6 adults and 6 babies..quote "we have loads of high chairs"..what they failed to tell me is that they can only have one high chair at the end of the table due to health and safety!!!! :scream Um...well they decided to put 3 highchairs together for us at one bench..like Kafrin said..don't think that is in line with health & safety!!! It was all a bit odd and not very BLW!!! lol  So we'll have to find a better venue next time!

Thanks gal's for making it through..I was the only one not travelling very far!

Soz you missed us Aitch..hopefully you can make the next meet-up! :D

i'll deffo come, i had totally intended to come today but haven't been here much due to work so completely lost track of the dates. am a bit pissed off about it, as i could've swung it to come today, at least for a while. sorry about that, i really need a personal secretary...
glad you had a good time, sounds like it all worked out fine. i can't honestly think of anywhere that could handle that many babies easily. (apart from teh golden Paperino's in Byres Road for whom nothing is too much trouble).

I am so sorry I had to run (literally, with Wolfie bouncing) just made the train. We had a lovely time and the food was delicyummy. Yes thanks for organising it. I think we should have a New Year meet up next...Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh????????Must make a poll nearer the time. Katgold will have to go through to ur neck of the woods soon to look at that 2 nd hand baby shop. What is the name so I can google it? Cheers so lovely to put faces to some names now!

The store is Good Green Fun http://www.goodgreenfun.co.uk/

Also, if youz are looking for slings...the yahoo group UKbabywearingSWAP is great for second hand slings of all sorts.

Think new year is a good suggestion Kafrin as I suppose we should all be saving cash for Christmas! UM.. :scream AND I can't believe it's only a month away!!! :scream

Aitch..if you're able to make it next time..would be nice to have someone to travel with! :D
