Scotland meet up!

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Hello everyone,

Had a wee break cause A and I have been poorly :( . No idea where either of these places are but Im sure I will find them. As long as they are cool with babies then fine by me. I would prefer weekday meet as we are away at the weekend for the next few!

Looking forward to it,

Gillian

Weekend (or sometimes fridays) better for me, as number 1 son is at nursery in the afternoons during the week. I would find Edinburgh easier to get to, but I could do Glasgow too.

OK, I am going to be bold and suggest a date. It looks like weekdays are better for the majority and Glasgow is eeking out ahead.

How about Thursday the 15th or Friday the 16th of November? Morning or afternoon?

Mono is relatively child friendly though I don't remember any highchairs there (that doesn't mean there aren't any as I haven't been in ages). Theos in the West end is good for kiddos, but a bit further a trek? Any Glaswegians with suggestions?

I'm ashamed to say  that even though I'm in Glasgow I've hardly ventured into town with Little bee..it was rough going anywhere with her in the early days and think I scared myself! lol Anyhow, will get tips from one of my Mum friends who is a regular city centre tripper and post back later. Will also give Mono a ring and check the high chair facility! Oh, and since Fri might be best for wewillfixit maybe we should do that day if it suits? Aft is better for me. G.x

Friday 16th is good for me (Dougie is at nursery on alternate fridays, and I'm pretty sure that is one of his *off* days). Now I just have to think how to keep them both entertained on the bus all the way there... hopefully there will be some nice people who will play peekaboo with them all the way!!

Me again!

Ok, called Mono..they only have 2 highchairs :?

So tried Wagamamas who say the have loads! :D The just clip onto the tables?!? :D Sounds strange but good! The guy I spoke to said mid aft between 2-4pm is good as it's quite then. I didn't ask about the morn but sure it would be the same.

So maybe we should go there as it's central so not as much hassle for everyone?

Theo's sounds good too though more hassle getting to the west end?

The girl there said they have 4 high chairs..we could just do rotation! lol..or she offered little seats in the even that any of the kids could sit on their own  She then said they do great organic mush we could give to the babies :D (Ok she didn't really say Mush! ). I told her about BLW and she said that was fine, their menu is very catered towards children..serving fruit/cheese/bread/ham etc...she didn't mention roast veg or garlic  She was lovely and sounded v.friendly.

Over to you guys!

the wagamama seats are great. here is the Nome modelling one http://babyledweaning.blogware.com/blog ... 53325.html
i think it would be a great venue. god knows if i'll be coming, the life of a hackette does not lend itself to forward planning, but i will if i can. :D

OK, I am confused about the dates we are talking about. It looks like quite a few can do the 23rd. Is that OK for people, or am I reading this wrong?
