Summoning the Yorkshire Branch!

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Thanks Tint in, no I haven't met anybody from the forum yet. Really need to go to bed now or I'll be knackered in morning with so much to do...

Lovely to see everyone again & to meet fish&chips

Homeward journey bit of a mare!! R pooped on the bus  got to the station no assistant to let us in babychanger :scream so changed him in the bloody corridor, much to the disgust of other travelers but what else could I do. Last min platform change and prev train canceled so it was packed but we're home. lazy tea of ready made pizza and wedges, followed by bath and early night, then cider for mummy!

Lovely to see you all and to meet F&C, even if it was in passing as she pursued her active son!

The girls debriefed DH as follows (apologies to all concerned) - see if you can spot who is who:

...blah...blah...the girl with the lizard....blah....blah..... the screamy girl....blah...blah....the big sister of the screamy girl......blah....blah......H********h........blah....blah.....the boys who were late.....blah.....blah......B*n.......blah......blah....the little ones.....we missed B****and I***.

I feel proper naughty for having bunked off work and slightly nauseous at having drunk so much coffee!

I hope you had smooth journeys - especially AW!

LEts not leave it another year......

Oh no 4ww, enjoy the cider! No early night here, the nap in the car will probably mean they're awake until after 10 again. Hopefully we can start getting back towards something like normal soon.

No prizes for identifying my girls! It's a phase, it's a phase.... :scream

Lovely to see you all.

Lovely day, so nice to see the old faces again, and to meet F&C. :D
Managed to avoid a car nap on the way home, but the general excitement and hyper-ness means they're only just asleep. Stompy spent the journey back quizzing me on when we would see M & C again. Definitely have to get ourselves organised more regularly!
Sorry for making you skive off work Lin, hopefully the email problem lasted all day! ;)

Really nice to meet you all! We had lovely time, just wish C would stop for a minute so I could engage in conversation...

Managed to get to court in time to fill forms in and file application for bailiff service...only to receive call from court to say they got my ex's acknowledgement of service on Monday and just didn't post it to me yet. So it was kind of running around for nothing but at least we have some progress...

But enough about that. Yes, it's nice to finally have faces to go with some names...

Both girls asleep for.... 10:15. Ah well.

Glad there's some progress F&C, even if it's slower than you'd like. And much sympathy on the busy toddler who stops you socialising, I'm often in that situation and felt very lucky today that she sat down for a picnic and followed her sister rather than needing me the whole time (she made up for it later!)

we missed B****and I***

Aw! We'd have loved to meet up. We had a great time in the far north, lots of trips to the beach and the fabulous new leisure pool there (although DS went crazy for the slide so I spent most of the time at the bottom of it ready to catch him). The girls even went camping in Mum's garden, despite it being freezing and them hardly sleeping due to the men harvesting until midnight (and so driving tractors and trailers past the garden every 5 minutes) they still wanted to do it every night :scream
