Kent Meet, Easter Holidays?

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

I have no plans at all at the moment. i'm trying to get Bobs a place at a tennis coaching thingy which would be 10-12 Mon-Thurs next week, and I will try and get Bits to nursery Mon-Weds. The second week I have very little planned, bbut might try a weekend away over Easter.

Just a delay - but its been on/off/on for a week (we signed our contracts a week ago). Hopefully exchange tomorrow, but no guarantees and even if we do, we don't complete until the end of April & original date was aim for end of Feb. Normal house buying stuff really, I'm just fed up of it all.

So we've got:

Gingerbread house
TPM
Lucylastic
SharkiesMum
ToastyCrumpet
Supermansmum
Fozza
Rahgamuffin

Lunchtime onwards seems to be key, and Medway-ish probably works well for most, except TPM. Is that right? How long would that take you, Rah?

Dates-wise, 11th works for some, what about following week? Maybe we need a Doodle poll, happy to organise one if you let me have your email addresses.

I might take a view closer to Friday because it will be more than an hours drive for us. Suspect we might decline though. Sorry.

I've had to book the osteopath for after work time on that day now (stupid SPD). But if my SPD is too bad to go to work I'll try to come, but will spend most of the time sitting I imagine!

30-45 mins depending on where/how quickly I get away from BF group/how long it takes to wrangle kids into the car - should be there by 1 ish though.

Shall we go for Riverside? Then we can bag a couple of tables or some grass for a picnic and the kids can run off and play in the park if its sunny or we can hide inside if it rains? Also easy access to toilets/ice lollies :)

That sounds ideal...but I'm wobbling! Not about you lot, more the thought of the M25 on a Friday afternoon. Google maps reckons just over an hour from here, that's optimistic for the Dartford tunnel in rush hour though, surely?!

I've had a look at the directions, it's not that hard to find is it?! I don't have sat nav...

By Riverside do you all mean Riverside Country Park? Just trying to make sure I've got the right place.. if so, my maps app reckons it's about a 55 minute drive so I reckon we could be in. Will anyone else be bringing their DH? Mine's off work that day but I won't drag him along if he'll be the only one ;)

It's easy to find. M25 might be trickier on the way back but not sure tbh.
Yes that's the right one DIM. Mine will be at work.

I'm up for fri.

DiM: mine is at work, but bring yours - he can run after the kids while we natter ;)

FH: we generally find if we get to Dartford before 4:45-5 it isn't too bad, and coming from the A2 if you skip the flyover, go up to the junction, there is a local road (I think signed to Darenth? Might be wrong, its a long time since I looked at the signs!) that runs alongside the M25 until just before the tolls where you can rejoin the M25 (its only quicker if the M25 is queued though).
