Summer in the City (London Meets)

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Summer in the City (London Meets)

So we seem to have lost our planner-in-chief (AB&M) to actual real life (I hear it happens to some people...) so I thought I would step in and suggest we pencil in dates for London meets over the next few months. I have tried to alternate days so those of us who work part time can at least make some of the meets.

Monday March 17th
Tuesday April 15th (Easter Hols)
Wednesday May 28th* (Whit Week)
Friday June 27th*
Thursday July 24th (Summer Hols)
Monday August 25th (Bank Holiday)

I am usually first to arrive at Corams (you can thank children who don't sleep and efficient TFL transport for that...) but I can't make the starred dates, I am assured that once Kate has moved she will look at these favourably. And if she can't make it I will be fluttering my eyelashes at Weaners on maternity leave

Location: Coram's Fields unless it is peeing it down in which case we high-tail it to the British Museum.

I might be able to make the Easter one and possibly the May one but the July one is the day after school breaks for us so might be a bit much and the August one we're away.

The toddler will be in nursery but I can bring along the future weaner or both if it's the Friday (but I haven't yet braved solo travel that far with the two of them).

ETA, 17th is good for little Chompy and me.

Oooh, in theory, I could probably do April, May, July and August! Not for a minute suggesting I do all 4, but I'll have a think about about trying for at least one! :D

Hmm, actually, maybe Easter and August. May half-term we might be in Scotland, and the July one is the day before the weekend festival we're going to, so probably not sensible to exhaust the children with a London daytrip!

Oooh yay I'll be back on maternity leave for some of these and would love to come. Could potentially make the June, July and August ones. With two children...eek!

Id also like to come maybe with two or perhaps just a pre-weaner, depending on what I can manage!

Some of those look quite doable if I forget that I'd be doing it with 3 children.

drive to me and get the tube in from here - 6:2 is easier than 3:1!

I don't drive. It would be two buses to get to you and I'd pass the train for Euston on the way! Thanks for the suggestion though x
