Salisbury meet?

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

I'm excited too. Merryn is determined to get me to spoon feed her and the girls find this very funny as I told them not to tell you lot. Just saying. !!!
When do you want us SP?

Right, am going to compose a pm to all who I think are intending to come - if you think you're coming and you don't get a pm in the next hour, come and shout at me!

As for arrival time, what would suit people? I know we're meeting "for lunch", but if anyone needs to travel during the morning to coincide with or avoid naps that's fine by me (as long as it's not like 8am  ) I expect we all eat at different times, but we can probably put out the food for 12 (or before if needed) and dive in as we feel the need!

Some people have volunteered foodstuffs, not sure whether everyone has. I'll get lots of salad and fruit and hummus etc because that's harder to travel with. Anyone fancy bringing some bread /rice cakes/oat cakes type of thing?

I'll bring some home made bread-rolls and rice cakes - and some bread sticks? I have a melon that I could cut up to - would that be helpful? And i can always stop off at Waitrose on the way through for last minute stuff.

What else can i bring?

I may get to you closer to 11.45ish, only because merryne usually likes a morning sleep!

Thanks SP. We will probably be to you around 11ish, depending on R's feeds etc. See you tomorrow :-)

I would like you all to know that the house is clean today. Sadly, once Bluebird and DH get back in ten minutes' time, it will probably deteriorate, and I cannot answer for it being in a similar condition by the time any of you get here!

I'm afraid Snow White (despite being initially very intrigued by the idea of meeting you all) is unlikely to make an appearance, as she is having the treat of a sleepover with Grandma.

Have realised that Bluebird is unlikely to appreciate most of the nice things we are planning to eat, so will have some embarrassing-fussy-eater food on hand also for him and any other child who would prefer a jam sandwich on shop bread to anything proper

Mine love a jam sandwich.....
I will also bring fussy dairy free cheese and butter for Iona so she can have a cheese sandwich which will keep her happy!
I am baking some rolls but since the last batch got rather burnt I fully expect a stop at the shop on the way through!

We'll be there, not sure when. Dilly's off at a friend's for a sleepover tonight so not sure when he'll be home. Martha will be coming too, as long as that's ok with you.

What do you want me to bring?
Mummy to M - September 1998, D - October 2007, and E - May 2010. All BF, cloth nappies, and carried in the same sling, not sure BLW existed in the 90s though!
