manchester?

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

City centre ideas are few but
If nice day then picnic on grass near the football museum. There's a roundabout and space for them to run. Mine like walking along the stones near the triangle (exchange square I think it's called now outside self ridges)

If weather bad we could grab a bite to eat in a cafe somewhere. I think it would have to be mosi if city centre. Mine would go loopy just dragging them around shops. At least in mosi they can explore a little. Or Manchester museum as a change? It's a bit of a walk from the train station though. I would probably bring the car so I'm flexible.

14th or 15th would be fine for me. I'm also struggling to think of anywhere else in Manchester. I'm also in the car so I'm flexible.

Sounds good. Let's see who can come then decide on where I guess. We haven't been to MOSI for ages so I'm happy to go there if people need city centre.

Yes we're still ok for Monday. Are we going for MOSI then? Are we going for a packed lunch or going our somewhere?

We could bring a picnic for lunch and get coffee and cake at the restaurant before we leave or as we arrive. Their brownies and flapjacks are delish!

I can't commit (as usual it seems) we're broker and broke until Tuesday (pay day for me) and I have a massive assignment due at 9am on monday so it all depends if I've had to stay up ridiculously late etc.

Sorry girls we are going to have to pass on the meetup, combination of no money and 2 very tired children don't really go well together, plus its an hour and a half each way on the train and I fear that may be the last straw for us all, as lovely as a meetup would have been. sorry everyone x

It's ok ceem we totally understand.

BabyDsmummy-with only two confirmed me and you, it is more flexible. We can change location or cancel until another date. Seems a shame to not meet up once again though, we are totally rubbish aren't we? I am happy to still meet up with you are your boys, we can go wherever or we can delay until may half term to see if more people can make it then. What do you think?

Definitely don't worry Ceem, I wouldn't fancy that train journey either! Maybe in half term we could find a park or something closer to you as we all drive.

I'm still happy to come along tomorrow Nix - maybe the Trafford Centre as it's easier for us both to get to, and if Shye can make it she can get there too? We could let them loose in the play area for a bit - is there anywhere good to eat sandwiches or we could do Pizza Hut or something? Either that or a park but it's still a bit cool if the sun isn't out to be outside for ages with a picnic etc. Like you say it's a shame to cancel.
