Edinburgh or Stirling in November?

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

I'm just thinking, With the early Friday finish y'all have over there, Thurs (or any other day) might be preferable just so we're not travelling back when its getting busy. does that make sense or am I just being paranoid?

I'd prefer Thursday. For other reasons, but agree about the rushhour.

Note that Zoe's bedtime is currently around 5pm!

Thursday sounds good. So next week, 14th, or the following week, 21st? And what sort of time?

Either is good for me and anytime after 10 so we have time to get into town.

I'm leaning towards the 21st - as I might try to get some work done that I can drop off while we're there (red door gall again), It'll give me time to get it finished. Although I haven't completely decided whether to bother selling it there or not...

Let's say 21st then. I've got a possible date to dispose of some of my enormous pile of outgrown clothes next Thurs, so the following week suits me too. When can you get here, Disco, Oriel? Sorry you won't make it, QBM. Next time!

We're in! Meadows and Summerhall sounds great, and I suppose we could go for the City Arts Centre or museum if the weather's crappy. We're just coming across town, so can be there any time. Looking forward to it!

So as my travel options are a bit limited. I can get in at for 11, and I need to leave at 1.07 or 3.07. the former seeming a bit early, the latter a bit late, as we wouldn't be getting home until 4.45! :? We'll see how we feel (re how long we're there for).

So yeah. We'll be in Waverly at 11. I'm wondering if venues closer to the station might be a better idea? We'll be up for further ones once the weather improves (i realise that like 6 months away though) Sorry.

Perhaps we should go to the City Art Centre then? It's right next to Waverley. How would that suit everyone?

That would be grand, And it'll be nice to see you again :)
QBM - Be a shame to miss you, but will see you next time hopefully.

Oh by the way, on a selfish note. I've just realised S's nursery is closed on 28th and 29th - strange time for inservice or whatever but hey ho - and realised it would be better for us if we came then. Buuut its only a tiny bit better, it doesn't reaaally make that much difference. But if anyone else had an easier time doing it that week then maybe we could change it?

Just a thought - Disco, would you like to stay the night? We have a big spare room, and a friend staying this weekend so it will be all tidy and decluttered anyway, so wouldn't be a hassle for us, and would mean you didn't have to rush off and worry about getting home, with time to drop off your work and anything else you wanted to do. Specially if S is off nursery the next day anyway.

How nice of you to offer. I would accept it if I didn't have a craft fair looming that weekend, and I just know I'll be doing last minute prep for that, evenings are vital!

Thank you though.

Anyone else have thoughts on 28th? like I said, its no biggie if anyone needs to do 21st instead.
