Hampshire Meet Mon 19/8 nr Winchester

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Hampshire Meet Mon 19/8 nr Winchester

Postby KateGladTidings » 21 Jul 2013, 06:48

I'm probably going to be in winchester for w/c 19 Aug. Anyone fancy a meet near Winch? I may or maay not have dh and may or may not have a car, so might be limited to what passes for public transport in the counntryside ;) Still, reckon we could do Basingstoke, So'ton or Reading. Any offers?

I probably could!! Would prefer closer to the coast, if possible, so I'd vote Southampton!!!!

We'd love to meet somewhere on the Monday, can't do any other days that week... We're flexible where, as long as there's space to run and a park/something to climb on and a place that sells ice creams :D

I could be up for it potentially - but it does slightly depend on how mobile i am what with being ridiculously pregnant by then ......... So please arrange and i'll see what i could do if it was Winchester/Shampton way .....

OK, need to make some decisions! I suggest Monday, given that Heidi is the only one who's specified a day. And how do people feel about MtM's pub (think I know where you are roughly) ? It would be nr Winch, so easy for us :D. Is there space to run around?

Oh yes. Brand new climbing frame, swings and a little pirate ship. Plus a flat grassy mini field behind for running around, ball games, picnic blankets and crawling babies. Ice cream (and food) is expensive there, but that's the sort of thing I can provide at home...
