Central Scotland in May?

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Central Scotland in May?

Postby busmother » 18 Apr 2013, 15:47

We appear to have a random holiday from playgroup on Tues 21st May, and as it's a while since we've got together, wondered if anyone would like to meet then? Doesn't have to be that date, but normally our best day is now a Friday which I know is no good for Kat and possibly others. I think we're due a trip to Glasgow, or even Stirling or somewhere different. What do people think?

That's a shame. Well, obviously not having your brother over, but you know what I mean. Anyone else want to meet anyway? Or some other date?

I will wait and see what you decide to see if it is doable. I will have my minded children with me if I come so I will have to make sure I'm back in time. If its Stirling I will try get the car. Will also have to make sure parents are ok with them playing with 'strangers' :?

Ha. I might be able to meet you! We're travelling to Scotland this year, although we haven't nailed down the dates yet. Chances are we'd go in June, though. Close, but not quite!
I love my kiddos! Two April girls (2011 and 2013) and a May boy (2016). I guess we have spring babies in this family.

Isn't it just! I got all excited when I saw this, and then realised it was my own post. But doesn't mean we can't do it, even before May! Buses are still asking when we're going back to Perth. Though having said that, I might prefer not to go too far afield from Edinburgh at the moment as I'm getting pretty tired.

Edinburgh is good for me too though I am back at work next week (how did that happen?!) so I can only do Mon or Tues. Unless it's the school holidays.

That's quite nice - a spammer resurrects a two year old thread and you guys organise a meet-up!
I wish I was in Scotland now, too.
