Birmingham meet up, 2nd attempt?

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Sorry, I meant the lunch place, but thinking about it I should be meeting you all at the soft play and then moving on together so I don't need it anyway. Can I blame baby brain??

The play place is just off Kings Heath high street and the eating places are on the high street.

Groovy. I've looked up the map so I should be OK. :)

That'd be good. I went to Hoo Farm at the weekend and L loved it!

L decided that because I put him to bed fifteen minutes late, he wanted to get up over two and a half hours early. I shit you not.

My attendance today will entirely depend on if I feel fit to drive. Right now I'm barely fit to drive a *sling*, let alone a car.

ETA: it's now 9am and I still feel pretty wretched, so I'm not going to risk it. Having already been in tears once this morning because the garden hose didn't have the correct attachment, I think it's safe to say I'm not firing on all cylinders.

Oh bless you Laura. Hope you feel better later.

Hoo Farm sounds good to me for the next attempt :)

Luke was rubbing his eyes by 9:30 so I put him in his cot with a book, and went back to bed. It took me best part of an hour to fall asleep (we live on a new estate that's still being built so has lots of beeps and crashes during the day) but L threw me a blinder and didn't wake until half twelve. Bliss, absolute bliss.

Still a bit tired but now functioning like a human being. I hope you guys are having a marvellous time without me!
