Edinburgh 18th February. Dynamic Earth Soft Play. 1pm.

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Is anyone free for a get together in/around Edinburgh on the 18th Feb? I'll be up visiting Gran and meeting family over the weekend but I'm free on the Monday and id love to meet some Scottish weaners!

Anyone up for it? We have transport so can do Edinburgh central or further afield.

That's a relief Fantoosh, otherwise it would just have been a very northern London meet!

It'll be good to see you again Biccy. :D

Um, is this still happening? It's the day that C's due back to nursery after half term, but we'd be up for a skive if there's going to be a meet :D .

Been meaning to bump this... We are still up for it! As for suggesting somewhere, I'm not actually in Edinburgh so wouldn't have the first idea about where to suggest! I can always ask around if everyone else is as clueless as me :)

:( I can't do Mondays. I'm at work that day. It would've been great to meet weaners from further afield. Have fun though

I'm struggling to think of somewhere central other than the National Museum on Chamber St. Any other suggestions? I just can't think of anywhere else that would be as good for the toddlers/preschoolers.

Ooh, missed this. I'm on duty at Twins Club until 12 but could join you later if you're still around. Museum is hard to beat! And if people are new to Edinburgh then it's a bit of proper sightseeing / culture isn't it, so maybe we should just stick with that? If the weather was a bit better I'd invite you all to Portobello, but its not worth the extra trek from the station if it's miserable outside.

Dynamic Earth apparently has a nice soft play and has a big cafe if you wanted somewhere different. Pretty central as well.

Any preferences? I really don't mind as they are both equidistant from the train station. I'm also free all day so any time at all suits me as well.

I'm also rubbish at making decisions... ;0
