London half-term meet Thurs 21/02 RFH 11am

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

How big Kate? I might have some but if they are in the box in the top cupboard I can't reach... Will see what I can do.

Was hoping to come to this, but I had to dash out of a workshop I was running this morning to be sick, so I don't think a trip across London on the tube with both girls is a very good idea. Humph.

:( sorry to hear that robyn

Th'sM, don't worry if they're not easily available. I just picture you crafty types with houses full of fabric scraps...you know, lying around on every surface ;)

Cassie...you get me blud?

Woo hoo, see some of you tomorrow!

Since I'm an actual newbie, innit, just wondering what you normally do for lunch - do you bring stuff or are we going wild? The puppy is still incredibly fussy (yawn, no child of mine blah blah blah) so I tend to bring stuff I know he'll eat so he can chuck my food on the floor but still join in.

We're still planning on coming! Any tips on how we will recognise you all? (i'll probably be wearing a purple hat, lioncub has a yellow and black stripy one. I'll either have a maclaren buggy or the beco (though lioncub is a determined walker so may well not be in either of them!)

I'm chickening out. In theory I would have loved to have come and put names to faces, in practise I'm not sure I can manage the baby who wants to crawl everywhere on a long crowded train journey! Have a great time everyone x

:( boo mathsgirl! Hope our Evas meet soon!

cassie, I was planning on taking something cheap and bland for Roo and then buying something pricey for myself at the cafe there. Eva can have a bit of both! RFH never seem to mind you taking your own food in.

There may be something on in the Clore Ballroom tomorrow, but let's meet as close as possible to it. I'll *probably* have my Didymos Eva on (pink and purple stripes) but it's drying right now, so it may be a dark purple Zara instead. I'll have a 3yo who needs a haircut and a 9mo in a strawberry hat.

I shall have the puppy either in a big red backpack or a black mclaren dependent upon nappy pre trip. I tend to wear a green barbour jacket and brown boots (yup, I think it goes well with the sarf laaandan accent) with jeans.

Bland for babies it is then!

I don't think we can make it, n has a streaming bright green snotty nose, and I don't feel great either, prob just feeling knackered from being by myself this week but I think we need a quiet stay at home day. Sorry, was looking forward to it.

Thanks all for coming! Lovely to meet Lioncub's Mama and see some of you again. Pity we didn't *quite* catch B&M...and that Roo was so flaked by 2 that he wanted to go home, instead of to play at the museum with Mouse. Bah!

(Still, both children fell asleep on the way home and are still sleeping...can't be bad!)

We had fun - nice to meet you cassie & lioncub's mama, and those I've met before :) Thankfully mouse didn't fall asleep on the way home, he's declared bedtime now - shockingly early for him.
