Cardiff/West meet

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

I"m digging up some mature strawberry plants (variety "Red Gauntlet")- I should have 7 x 2 year old plants which produce masses of runners each year so you can make lots of new plants. I am located in Cardiff area. Free to a good home if anyone wants one or more - just let me know. Lovely for making jam or chomping on with your little ones!

Cheers

Marrow and I did lunch last week. I'd love to meet you for lunch. Mon, Tues or Thurs are best for me, although I'm childless. Let me know when you're coming to Bath and we'll get together.

And I'll be on maternity leave until Easter so I'm pretty flexible for now.

Very nice meeting up with Marrow for lunch today in Cardiff Bay. My DH thought I've been setting up an Internet date, so imagine my surprise when it turns out Marrow and DH work together! Small world moment.

Anyway - if anyone else in the Cardiff area wants to meet, post a message or send a PM.

Cheers

Small world indeed. We can be friends as long as he replies to my email :D

(and this thread now makes me sound terribly sociable - the two forum people I've met in RL in one place!)

Oh gosh I should really get going with sorting this!

I'm away at the moment, but how are people fixed over the next few weeks? Or shall we leave it til the summer holidays? Or have a Bristol Zoo meet so more people can come?

Still recovering from an awesome but knackering holiday here - not quite ready for a long train ride just yet... well, Ollie is and he's making his feeling quite clear but 27 trains in 10 days is not a sustainable rate!

Shall we think of the summer holidays? Would that be easier for everyone?

Have been a bit silent on the question of when's best... I'll pop along and say hello if you happen to meet in the city centre (or somewhere I can get to easily on the train like Cardiff Bay) at a time I can semi-reasonably call 'lunch' on a day I'm working in the lab. So probably won't! :(

If anyone is in Cardiff and fancies meeting up for lunch / coffee with the above provisos, let me know!
