Glasgow/Stirling/Edinburgh pre christmas?

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Sounds good - we missed the last one so it would be lovely to see people.

I was going to post the same thing!

So, I need to go to the Apple store sometime soon as my computer is cranky, so would suggest ransacking Glasgow Tinderbox as an activity. Alternatively, I could do that on a Friday and we could go to the Christmas Market or the Museum again?

Ooooo, Christmas market! I do love Edinburgh at Christmas, they were putting up the big wheel yesterday when I walked along princess street!

I'm up for meeting up wherever though. Fridays are really the only day we can do so I'm not fussed if you want to meet a different day so more people can come iyswim!

If the dates fit then I am in! DH gets some overtime this Xmas so the purse strings should stretch to a wee outing!

Sounds great!

I'll keep a look out and, if the dates fit in with work, we'll be there this time :)

Fridays are probably best for us too - though travelling is always a bit busier. Mondays are next best. Would be lovely to see you all again.

We'd love to come along too. Friday or Monday would probably be best for us, so that we can tag the nursery skive onto the weekend and minimise any confusion for C. But really we can do any day, so I'm happy to fit in with everyone else.

A Friday would be good for me - I've had so many days off with the pox recently I don't think I could justify another day off before christmas :(

It sounds like the museum worked well last time - is it a bit boring to go back?

I love the Christmas markets but would be in awe of anyone taking small people there... let alone en masse. Or am I just inexperienced and these things become less daunting with practice?!

I'd like to go to the market but you might be right Scozzie - I don't know how much I'd be able to relax whilst there. S has a tendency to run around like a nutter, and at least at the museum he'll be enclosed.

On a friday, I don't have children. To justify it work-wise I would prefer Glasgow, but the museum is awesome for kids, so don't base a decision on me.

I'm easy either way.
... we could do two. <gasp> one in Ed on a friday and one in Gow another day.

I totally understand if you want to keep your work day for work/kid free KG.
