August/September Central Scotland

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

As long as it does fall on my birthday or while I'm on holiday I would like to attend!

Thought I'd just reply again to bump this up.

We can do any day during the week, before 4th September. C starts nursery that day ( :bsmile :cry) and I don't want to pull her out for a jaunt until she's settled/institutionalised.

Totally understand if people want to meet later in September, just thought I'd throw our dates out there.

Edited because I pressed submit too soon.

Yep i'm still up for it. Likewise booksnob, S starts nursery soon. But the vague feckers haven't given me a date yet. I'll find out on the 22nd of august. I suspect it'll be the week after but who knows.

So I can commit to the end of next week (24th) so far... but if y'all are not ready to meet on thurs 23rd or fri 24th than I wont know much more until wed.

I could make that - depends where we're going though.

Ummm... I might sound a bit paranoid but Scary Fairy has only ever posted here twice, both times about meeting up... seems a bit odd...(apologies if I'm not being rational) :?

I can do either 23rd or 24th! In fact, either of those dates would fantastic!

Weird about Scary Fairy......

Yup, we can do 23rd or 24th too. I'd suggest a Glasgow meet, since we did Edinburgh last time, and discocrispo has the littlest baby, I think? What does everyone else think?

Maybe I'm a bit too laid back about these things, but I reckon we don't need to worry about Scary fairy (unless she tries to lure us all to a creepy fairy grotto or something). I first posted about meeting up, and haven't posted much since  .

WSS^ And I can attest that booksnob is not a weirdo ;)

And er.. yes I'd appreciate if it was Glasgow this time. Don't know that I could handle the festival madness and a defiant toddler - baby is the easy one.

Should we PM other people who haven't replied in case they've missed it? Probably. I think we agreed to do that. I'll do that today.

Hi! Froglet has her nursery trial morning on Thurs & Im guessing will be hideously upset & overtired by the time I pick her up... What I'm trying 2 say is Fri would be better for us. If Thurs suits everyone else better then I'll just make the call when I pick the little lady up...!

I would love to join in. Thurs or fri is good for us. Don't know my way around Glasgow too well so will need directions. We will be getting the train.
