Yorkshire summer holiday meet

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

I'll be the very pregnant one with two little girls with bobs, one blond with red shoes and one darker with blue shoes (it's snow white and rose red!). Both wearing summer dresses probably.

Oh, and I'll be carrying a red crumpler muffin top camera bag which made AD wonder how I managed to carry so little (changes of clothes in the boot of the car). It still ended up in her buggy though.

Just checked weather forecast and it looks nice and warm with some sunny bits and some rainy bits - hopefully more of the sunny bits! I'll have 19 month old boy and we'll have a black / beige maclaran pushchair and black rucksack. Looking forward to it :D

I'm only bringing Stompy, so I'll be there with a long-blonde-haired 4.5 yr old.
I'm notorious for running late, and getting lost - so as my SatNav is broken, it doesn't bode well but I'll try to set off much earlier than I need to!

Lovely to meet you all at last. DDs slept all the way home and then ate masses of tea so obviously a good day. Although they both needed a bath they were so filthy.

Yes, great to meet everyone - we had a lovely time! Sorry to wimp out early, but I'm pleased to say that monkeybaby just went to bed pretty easily for the night, which he wouldn't have done if we'd left later and he'd napped too late! Let's hope for a later than 4.45am wake up tomorrow morning!

Fab day!

We successfully retrieved our umbrellas from the cafe, although the extra walk there and back again had Stompy adopt some sort of Bristolian accent as she drawled at me "Oi'm Toiyurd!" :?

I know we say this every time, but we really should organise ourselves to do this more often!

Thanks all, we had a great day. And despite Jiglet mostly ignoring the other children she did insist on singing good night to them all!

I think I need an early night now, I'm exhausted... On the other hand, Jiglet fell asleep for the last 20 minutes of the journey home so is still awake now :?

We had a fab time too, i think i'm going to get a bit sick of the constant talk about AD's H though!
DD slept for about 45 mins in the car, but was still rather grumpy and over tired. And yes, filthy barely covers it!

Great to see everyone today! T had a bit of a nap on the way home - I think we left at just the right time as she was flagging after being so busy. A shame the sun came late!

We had lovely day and great to see everyone. Think Wriggles enjoyed all the running around (and ice cream!). Journey home was great as well :)
