Yorkshire summer holiday meet

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Just a word of warning - the book shop there has an amazing range of children's books so if you've any book tokens bring them along!

Shall we say 10.45am then?

Google maps tell me it will take about an hour and a half to get there so 10.45 sounds good to me - providing i can persuade DD to get dressed that day!

I am confused about which date for Harlow Carr?? It's pretty easy for me to get there and I've enjoyed previous visits. I am going on holiday tomorrow though!

Sorry but we won't make it. The Aged Parents have decided that we are allowed to stay with them after all.

Friends tell of a fabukous new treehouse at Harlow Carr so there should be plenty to enjoy. Have fun!

Just wondered if anyone had heard anything from Elmbed as not seen her on here for ages and whether she'd be up for the meet?

Just checking the plans for Monday. We're meeting 10.45am at Harlow Carr :) . Is there an obvious place there to meet? Also, what are pp doing for lunch? Taking picnic stuff or getting it from a cafe? Also, someone mentioned a Betty's option...

Just reminding everyone of this for the coming Monday 20th.

Meeting at Harlow Carr - 10.45am in Harrogate.

Let's meet at the entrance where you pay. Bring your own picnic and blanket. Treats for later can be bought at Betty's (which is in the gardens itself) if you're feeling rich but as a sandwich costs £7 and more, I will be bringing my own lunch and maybe getting a cake later. You can get icecreams in the gardens too for the lo's. Of course if you want lunch in Betty's you go for it!

I'll be the one with the double black P&T Sport pushchair with a cheeky blonde boy in it and a very excited red headed girl dancing/skipping/falling over around it!

The forecast for monday is looking good so fingers crossed it doesn't change. Bfn x

We're coming!! I'm combining it with a visit to my mum, who lives in North Yorkshire, and she's giving us a lift, so she'll be around for at least some of the time. Generally my friends all like her, it's just me she drives nuts, so hopefully it'll be ok...

So...I'll be the one with the mum and a 16 month old in a teal manduca. Looking forward to it!

We're almost certainly coming as long as we don't have the bug DH had... I'm hoping to set off in time to meet you at the time we said but my parents have been visiting and it might take longer to get everyone out of the house! So don't hang around ages waiting for me, I'll catch you up if needed.

I'll have 6 month old in a black and white connecta and a scruffy 3 year old.

See you tomorrow!
