Coram's Fields 4th of July

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

usually on the grass near the first playground and sand pits to the right hand side as you come in. if the weather is good, bring towels and water outfits/change of clothes for the little ones. don't forget cafe kipferl in the corner serving (austrian) sandwiches (i.e. dark dense bread) and the best coffee this side of vienna! :)

i hope i havent left anyone out. Kat, if you are coming up from sevenoaks, you could take the slow train to luton/bedford which goes directly via st pancras, no changes required anywhere at all. takes about an hour but may be worth to reduce any hassle involved?

I'm only a very slightly possible and maybe only for half an hour. What are the outer bounds of temporal presence?

Woo! It's a long list and I'm on it! Can't wait :D

B&M said she could be there by 11.30. I could probably do 11. Is that too early or are there others looking for an early start?

Not sure about leaving time, FIL is visiting from France and meeting DP at his work. We should probably look keen and meet them there, but I reckon we're good for at least 2 or 3 hours... (where's the "dutiful daughter-in-law" icon when you need it?!?)

We're a No.

Turns out trains are seriously expensive, and while I was busy trying to justify it work have shifted some bits around and I now have to work the next three Wednesdays anyway. I mean seriously. How rude!

Ho hum. I hope the sun shines for you all in a lovely relaxing, non-burning or dehydrating kind of way!

I will aim to be there by midday.

I mentioned going through Didcot before but actually I can't get a pushchair over the bridge at my local station so I'll catch the fast train from oxford which probably won't stop at Didcot.

What's the best way to get there from paddington, bearing in mind I'll have a pushchair which pretty much rules out the tube.
