Coram's Fields 4th of July

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Kate! I might have some, I just grabbed TheWriggler's nursery bag and I think it has 2 pairs in. You're welcome to borrow if you need.

I brought my picnic rug! Still haven't heard from my manager though as he's in meetings, nail biting time. Might have to see if I can get hold of HR person to give me the nod.

So sorry we didn't make it in the end... had a bad night, an even worse morning, and then L's preschool teacher said she wanted to do our parent-teacher meeting at midday instead of 3.30 and suddenly it just seemed impossible to make it :(

It's dry here in west London though, so hoping you all have a nice time and don't get too wet! We will try to make another meet soon.
Now proud Mummyto3 little crazies!

Back home! Lovely to meet so many of you this time - it's easier when not chasing a 2 yr old!
Special thanks to Fozzy's Z & DIM's D for being lovely with hamster. & to Kate for the lovely brownies :)

Anyone lost a baby wearing rain coat? I have it and will post it if you pm me your details.

We had a lovely day. Was really nice to see people again and meet new BLWers.

You're welcome, CK! Nice to meet you, along with the other Kat (and Svea and issi too!)

Haven't lost a coat, but predictably lost one of eva's pink socks. Around the time Roo and TheWriggler were up to mischief... ;). Great day, thanks everyone...and it turned out nice in the end! Great idea to use the pavilion - can't believe we've never hidden there before!

We had a fab time too. Thanks to everyone (particularly Kate) for toddler wrangling and to Crumpet and CrumpetsMum for looking after TheBean when only mummy wrangling would do!

PS - TheWriggler has now eaten all his pasta, it was demolished in five minutes flat!

It was a pleasure Rosie and I'm glad Crumpet left the Wriggler some of his pasta!

Haha, I read this as "Anyone lost a baby wearing a raincoat?" I was wondering if anyone actually made it home minus a baby?! lol

Right, off to check out the dates of the next meets to see if we can come in August :D

It was so lovely! It felt like I could chat more than usual (probably because I didn't have A and M was asleep for so long!) well worth going AWOL at work for, and luckily my manager did approve my leave in the afternoon! I'm just sorry I had to dash off to do the school run, I could have stayed for ages and had a chance to speak to people properly!
