Bristol, June bank holiday??

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

:( :( :( :( We had a phone call to say my nan was ill, she had a mini stroke. She actually seems fine now. Still, we decided to stick around for a bit and won't be heading for Swindon until tomorrow, too late to join in I should imagine. I'm jinxed when it comes to BLW meets, haven't made one since Scoot was 8 months - Boo!

I'd have liked to have talked cakes Bananacustard!

Fingers crossed for a lovely day for you all. xx

Well, the boys and will be timing our arrival to make B fall asleep on our way over so mid- morning 10.30/11ish. But so long as we know when everyone else is arriving we can find you when you all arrive if it's later,

Have just arranged to pop into see the PILs on the way back (wasn't sure if it was going to be on the way or the way back) so we are fine for any time after about 11.

Should we have two rendez-vous points then? 11ish by the flamingos for early starters and then 12 on the lawn for lunch? Happy to let anyone have my mobile no. - send me a PM if you want it.

I don't think I can do it. I've had a headache since Friday & I can't seem to stay awake for more than a few hours at a time. So driving on my own with 2 kids doesn't seem like a great idea.

Maybe if I can persuade DH to take the day off work so I can sleep in the car...but that's unlikely.

Sorry we'll be missing out. Have fun x

If you'll still have us, we can come :D DH has decided he can come too! We're still not dressed/packed so we'll probably be late...but it should still be lunch time. I think I've still got TF's mobile, so should I text when we arrive? Or am I shunned for changing my mind at the last minute?!

Dh doesn't finish work until midday so the absolute earliest we'd get there is 1pm. Ideally I would like William to have a proper nap at home befor ewe leave, knowing he can't nap tomorrow at the lake and two consecutive days of bad naps will result in Wednesday being horrific. Last time they wer horrific after just the lake day and no naps!

So will folks still be around at 2/3pm? Or I could leave dh at home with William and lotty, and just come earlier with just arch? A lot depends on the weather for me but the forecast appears favourable at the moment?

Argh. I could just throw them all in the car at midday and deal with the trauma that ensues.....
