Coram's Field - Wednesday the 11th of April.

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

I've changed the thread title so the date is more obvious now :)

Catkind, it's a shame you can't make it - maybe the next one?

Allie, you should be brave.. we haven't made the same meet since Dylan was around nine and a half months old, I think! It'll be pretty much two years exactly!

My back went on Thursday. Convenient really with my osteo away over the bank holiday weekend. I've tried everything but walking too much is hard, and carrying small children for long is not a good plan.

I'd love to meet/see you all again but I don't think I'd be much fun & the following week would be a nightmare. BUT I want to come! Especially as it's a Wednesday so SN & TF will be making an appearance...(Jim has nothing to do with it, naturally ;-) ).

I've also got another offer on Wednesday...which would involve lots of sitting down & Twink could see one of his friends who he hardly ever sees but is talking about right now!

I think my back has made the decision for me. What are the chances of there being another meet up while my kids are on holiday from nursery & so many of the people I already 'know' or like will be there?

Ooh I've missed this but I can come during my lunch hour if it's not too cold. Without any kids, naturally :D

Oh Allie :( Hope your back gets better soon x

Svea - it would be lovely to see you again.

Do we have an alternate plan if it's raining? British Museum?

The British Museum has worked pretty well in the past, I think, and as it's the Easter holidays that will hopefully mean there won't be lots of school trip groups there..?

yup, weather forecast looks pretty rainy. British Museum is always a good alternative but if it's anything like the Transport Museum last week, it will be a bit :scream. As will anywhere in Central London!

Is it terrible that I don't feel quite so bad about missing out if it's raining?!

I'll just have to hope there is a Coram's fields meet up is in the summer holidays & find another excuse to pop down to Bristol to see TF again :D

Hope you all have a great time x

Come to Bristol Allie, when you're feeling better. If you can manage to hit half term or a weekend then I could meet up too! (am at college on Weds til July eek!)
I will still be coming, cold/flu bug nonewithstanding. That will be 2 weeks, surely it should have gone by then! I've cancelled trip to sis tomorrow (7+ hours on public transport entertaining 2 kids whilst feeling like a zombie just not worth it!) but B & SIL are risking it! (I really am much better, just not right, damn immune supressing pregnancy!) I have TF's mob no. I think she has mine so we can figure out what to do if wet!

Sorry to hear you won't make it Allie. Eli, hopefully see you then! I too have a yucky cold from complete-lack-of-immune-system but hoping it'll be better by then...

OK, so it's nice and sunny in London today even though it was forecast for rain. So, DIM one are we going with Coram's tomorrow or meeting at the Museum? I haven't had so much as a twinge yet so am guessing I'll be there!
