Coram's Field - Wednesday the 11th of April.

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Coram's Field - Wednesday the 11th of April.

We were chatting about future meets at the Slingmeet yesterday and I said I'd come and start a thread so we could get some dates in our diaries..

Last year's idea of alternating days of the week each month seemed to work quite well, so shall we pick a Monday in March and start from there? Maybe keep the British Museum as a backup plan just in case it rains on the day, but hopefully meet at Coram's for lunch and play?

So we can either go for earlier in the month (5th or 12th) or wait until a bit later (19th or 26th) although I know B&M has suggested a meet at the Sling Show on the 24th of March, so it might be better to avoid arranging another meet for that week!

Let me know what works for you :)

I can't come but those dates are in term time so people with older children at school may struggle....

I'm definitely not going to be able to come if it's term time now, sadly (wouldn't get home in time for M). But the Easter holidays are the first two weeks of April so I could attempt to be brave and come with all three.....eeek!

Could well manage one or two. Won't make March as we are mostly away, but after that most days are do-able except Fridays, will watch and wait for one I can make.

Shall we do a mixture? Aim a couple at holidays e.g. Easter - April, one for half term (someone will have to tell me when that is) and then late July/Aug , and then others in term time (May, June, Sept) for those of us who aren't tied by that (yet!) and who may brave the journey if the trains won't be heaving.
My peas are gone as well as my marbles.

If you made the Easter one the Tuesday after easter. I will endeavour to ring the boys (probably with the nanny <cheat emoticon>). I think that's the 10th?

That's a Wednesday then :D Would be great to see you!!

I'm not sure if I'd be able to get home in time for school pick up - I'd have to leave at 2pm or something silly. There may come a time when he's willing to go on an after school play date alone but chances of that coinciding?!

So its got to be Easter & half term for me then of course we'd be looking for a weekly meet all over the Summer holidays

PM, if the nanny could dress as Mary Poppins that would be excellent.

That would be fab & I can tie it in possibly with picking niece up or dropping her off at KX.
