Glasgow meet - Poll

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

When shall we have a glasgow meet?

Having pled (is that a word?) for 12 last time, I'll go back to 11, but really either's fine.

Oh.. thats a shame splash. Hope to meet you soon.

MCM Thats cool. I was thinking 12 might be easier since most of you have a bit to travel anyway.

Ok, we're getting closer. 12pm Friday 17th Feb at Mono Glasgow. Agreed?

I guess you'll all be coming into Queen st station so could meet there first if unsure of directions. I'll let all you train folks sort that out and I may or may not come meet there. Busmother know the way ;)

I am debating just driving through...looking at the map it looks quite straight forward - but is there parking near by?

I would be driving too. Trains for me would take even longer and drop me at central.

Oooooo fun! I wish I could come! It would take me 9 hours to drive there though. The kids would get really bored. And then I'd be obliged to drive another hour and a half to see the inlaws.....

Yep that'd be quite a drive Ives. I didn't realise your inlaws were up this way, anywhere nice?

Is anyone coming on the train then, or is it just me? I wouldn't say I exactly know the way as I just followed Disco last time, but I'll know when we get there, and I do have an A-Z.

Really sorry not to meet you, Travellingmum, but quite understand your priorities (small huff). Had a very nice lunch with DC and discovered Madcatmummy's secret identity as someone I know in real life, which is a bit disconcerting (but very nice, MCM). Children all behaved themselves and did not scare off any other customers, just each other. Quite satisfying though to see the mess that a new weaner makes, and see how far we've come (though to be fair, I think the toddlers did help). Splash, you'll have to set the date for the next one, just to make sure you can make it.
