Summer Sling Show - London

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Summer Sling Show - London

Postby AB&M » 07 May 2008, 11:57

Is anyone thinking of going to the Summer Sling Show? Its been advertised on Sling Meet.

They were asking for people to be part of their fashion show. I've volunteered with Bruno in the patapum and she said she's going to tell me about a photo shoot. Sounds like fun!

They are also looking for people to help re first aid.

They are having a photo shoot on Monday in Shoreditch. No doubt you've already seen the cry for help on slingmeet. Shame I can't go :(

I am really impressed with the Ellaroo Hip carrier. i also have a Scootababy, but ordered some Ellaroo ones - and they are very supportive and comfy for the grown up and the baby. The to people who have tried them aslo thought they were good. Just in case you were interested!

Thanks Pics. I've achieved paralysis through analysis looking at hip slings. I like the look of the ones you have mentioned but I just know that I'll end up buying and buying loads of different ones just to keep trying them (the cupboards full of beakers and sippy cups bear testament to my inability to stop ....and lets not mention the many different types of nappy I have!!).

Hence wanting to make the sling meet - at least I can see some of these fellas live and make a better informed decision!

How about everyone who meets up next week giving up some on their way home? This is easy for me to say as i think i can't make it - unfortunately there is a whole load of family stuff going on which makes comitting to anything pretty much impossible. But still might . . .

Sorry to hear you can't make it pics but you do have a long way to go! I'll definitely be bringing some - hoping to have the courage to give a few away to new mums in the park!
