May 2nd Roll Call

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

May 2nd Roll Call

Postby AB&M » 20 Apr 2008, 09:57

Well I've been giving out my mobile left right & centre and all of a sudden we have a London meet - all because Luca needs a passport

So, lets have a roll call and discuss meeting where in Victoria. What do you all fancy? It needs to be close to the station for the travellers - only fair really.

So we have Wagas, always busy on a Friday but we could get there at 11.45 & be first in the queue... Or there are pizza places galore. Lots of other ethnic type cuisine - Kazaan, a Lebanese place is child friendly but not sure how many chairs they have...

I'm in. Don't mind where we go, wherever we meet there is a high risk of bumping into people I've worked with!

Well Luca had a passport but his mummy lost it

We've got our appointment at 9.45 so I'd hope we're finished by 11 and could meet you guys by 11.30/12.00.

Maybe let's try a pizza palce, could we book a table somewhere to be sure we get in?

I think Mae'r and I may try and gatecrash seeing as we've never been very successful at arranging our own meets!!

So we've got at least 5 plus children (just 1 each or anyone bringing others?) I'll give the pizza places a call and see whether they can fit us in.

Me too! please. I am definitely planning on coming - unless there is some sort of Wiltshire disaster . . .

OK well I phoned Ask and tried to book a table for 20 (!!) with 10 high chairs. That's a lot of high chairs. They're going to call me back to confirm they will have that many high chairs. I did say it was a birthday party so we shall see.

I'll phone them again later 'cos they never call you when they say they will!

We've got a portable seat we can bring (that fits onto a normal chair).

OK well I have a definitive answer. They'd love to have us. Who's birthday is it going to be

They are going to borrow high chairs.

We have a reservation at 12pm at ASK (see link below) in Victoria for 10 adults & 10 high chairs :D
