London

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

I concur about the awfulness of the Charrington bowl.
I'd love to meet up on Friday 11th but don't want to get too excited as this will be the fourth time of trying to catch up with you BLWers but we've been thwarted every time with lurgies etc.
Fingers crossed for weather and health. :bsmile

Hmm - We need to move to Surrey in the v near future. Anywhere else we should avoid?

I'd be interested in joining a London meet, if that's okay.

We haven't got one yet AGs - I think general consensus was late May but we haven't got our act together yet

I'll be around as Fridays are my day off. Are you going to the passport office in Victoria? That's just up the road from me if you want to meet up :D

PM me and I'll give you my mobile or something.

Have lived in Surrey all my life and am now on the Berks/Surrey border. PM me if you would like any area advice, I'm happy to help :D

Mummy to 3 scrumptious BLWers, who sometimes rebel + ask for spoonfeeding (2007, 2010, 2013). Antilop chair, slings, cloth nappies, no steam mop but awaiting permission for special handshake which probably involves porridge.

Luca's mum you've started a meet :D

I was thinking about venue. I know we said Waga's but we did that last time and Friday lunchtime was awful. Of course if its later in the afternoon it should be fine but we really struggled last time to get a place - big queue etc.

Dilemma :?

I was going to suggest somewhere like the London Aquarium as it's easy to get to and could be entertaining for the children, and although it's a bit pricey they do 2-for-1 offers if you use a train ticket or oyster card, but when I looked they don't actually have a cafe or anywhere to eat (although there are places in County Hall/along South bank). How could we go somewhere and not show off our babies' eating skills?! So that's the end of my suggestion, sorry.

Anywhere that's good for mums and babes is fine with me really. I only don't want to make it too late as we're leaving the house at 7 in the morning to come up to London, so for us it would be lunch and then on the train back home :D
