Anyone in the Harrogate/Leeds area?

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Anyone in the Harrogate/Leeds area?

Hi out there...do any of you (local to Harrogate?) fancy doing a meet nearby? My LO is nearly 7 months old, into the blw for 4 - 5 weeks and I would love to swap notes/stories/recipes with fellow mums/dads....let me know and I'll see if it's viable to arrange a 'meet up'.
Thanks!

I'm in the area (Otley) but Charlie is quite a bit older than your LO - he just turned one. Having said that he's not really into food still so we don't do very strict BLW!

Well that's two of us!! Plenty of venues we could use!! Don't think the age difference of your LO really matters, does it? We can still have a good chat about stuff.

Not yet but we are in the process of relocating back to Leeds. Hopefully we'll be home by the summer.

However I am between BLW stage so to speak - Small is 20 months so firmly in the oldie camp but Small As Well isn't due for another six months.

Still I am looking forward to joining the W Yorks BLW contingent.

Ooh, where in London are you? We moved back up from Islington 3 years ago, still miss it a bit to be honest but much easier being a mummy up here I reckon. I am pretty free for the next couple of weeks (Easter holidays) but work part time in term time. Are you free in the week? Could do somewhere like Pizza Express in Harrogate if that isn't too unoriginal. PM me if it's easier as it doesn't look like anyone else is round here!

Charliesmummy - I won't be around until the summer sadly. DH is a teacher so we are looking at moving back to Leeds in the summer hols. We are up here this week house hunting but it'll be a few months before I am based back in Leeds. However, once I'm back let's startt he Yorkshire chapter! (Oh we're in Hampstead at the moment!)

Chacasta - Yup - we're taking the plunge - As Well is 14 weeks so there is a way to go yet.

Hi Lin....we're hoping to meet up in Harrogate next Thursday (Don't suppose you'll still be househunting then??), but it would be good to organise a Summer Meet, when you do move up, too. Am also a teacher, and go back to work next Monday :( so it would be lovely to have another 'Mummy' date in the diary...let us know when you're moving date will be...And when your Due date is, too...(can't work it out from 14 weeks...brain gone totally dead!)

Well, we've had an offer accepted for a house in Leeds. Anyone know someone who'd like a 2 bed flat in Hampstead!!!

Have a great lunch on Thursday & we look forward to joining you in the summer.

Aswell is due 30.09.08!
