BLW pre-Xmas party?

A few of us have been lamenting the fact that the last meet-up in London flopped, and so we've hit upon the idea of a BLW pre-Xmas party! The tentative date is December 8th, and I've offered to host it at my house, which is 10 minutes by bus (or 15 minutes walk) from Waterloo Station, or on a direct bus route (about 30-40 minutes) from King's Cross/Euston, and not far from a couple of tube stations.
Obviously my house couldn't fit everyone on the forum into it, but if numbers are similar to previous London meet-ups then it should be fine. Thomas would be at nursery in the morning, but he gets home about midday, so it could be any time from around 12.30 onwards.
Who would potentially be up for it?

Damn and blast! 8th December is my very last day of work before my mat leave starts, so we can't come (though maybe just as well Ellielle - sounds like you will have a full house!)

I think the bring-a-dish idea sounds good (as long as I'm allowed to buy "my" dish from Cook, yes?) would we need to organise it a bit though? Perhaps have a thread or something so that people know what's being brought and we don't end up with twenty three cakes and no sandwiches?
