LET'S GET ORGANISED SOUTHCOASTERS!

Some of us get together from time to time in order to talk about the latest issue of Heat magazine, global politics, important developments in lipstick manufacture and, er, Baby-Led Weaning.

Oh might have to take a rain check, that's a bit early for us, we're coming over from Chichester. We're swimming in the morning and would only be in Bournemouth around 1ish.

Don't worry, you go ahead as you're closer anyway and I'll hook up at the next meeting in Southampton.

But I'm sure we'd still be there at 1pm and it would be lovely if you could make it xx

We can meet 11.30am then by the time we are there and are starting to eat etc will be 12pm then people can follow and join us as they arrive! :)
But if its too early I dont mind meeting later. :) Will we need to book, does anyone know how many highchairs they have there?

Hi, I'd love too come too- the only thing is that sweetpea has a milk feed at half12ish followed by lunch at 1 so we may be a bit late for everyone. Where is wagamama? I've never come across it before.

There are plenty of car parks nearby. Westover Road is one of teh main roads in Bournemouth, very near to the pier - there's a car park next to the pier, or ther is one a t The Pavilion, just opposite Wagamamas. Both pay & display I think xx

Website = http://www.wagamama.com/index.php - if anyone wants to look at the menu etc...

Wagamama, 31 - 32 Westover Road, Bournemouth, BH1 2BZ

DIRECTIONS BY CAR

M27 westbound becomes A31.
Leave A31 to join A338 (Wessex Way) signposted for Bournemouth.
Stay on A338 for about 8 miles & leave at exit signposted for East Cliff, Lansdowne, Bournemouth railway station & interchange.
Asda will be on your left-hand-side.
At the next roundabout turn right (3rd exit). You will pass some office buildings & shops incl. Tesco Express on your left.
At the next roundabout take the exit after The Roundhouse Hotel (3rd exit) onto Bath Rd.
You will pass an Esso on your left just before the next roundabout.
At that roundabout get in left lane marked 'local traffic' & take the 3rd exit (still Bath Rd).
You will pass The Royal Bath Hotel (big white Victorian building on your left) just before the next roundabout.
At that roundabout you have 2 choices (both are pay & display car parks @ about 60p per hour):

1st option: Turn right at the roundabout into Westover Rd & then left into The Pavillion car park. Wagamama is opposite The Pavillion. The only problem with this option is that if there are no spaces you are on a one-way street & I could give you directions to get back out but that would all get very long-winded sooooo, unless you know Bournemouth quite well I would suggest:

2nd option: Go straight-on at the Royal Bath Hotel roundabout instead & there's a car park a bit further down the hill on your right. There are 2 levels to this car park so you should get parked here. Walk out of the car park through the tree-lined pathway signposted for Pavillion & Westover Rd & when you come out on Westover Rd turn left & cross at the traffic lights a bit further along. The lights are directly outside Wagamama.

Hope this is OK.

See you all on Wed 5th.

I'm looking forward to it & I hope Orla will attempt to at least look like she is eating something in the restaurant rather than just throw stuff & talk to her food as she does at home (only kidding! )

Hi everyone.

I had a PM from Lucasmum saying she is away for a while.

So... can someone else book the restaurant, as Lucasmum will not be able to do it as she is out the country and wasn't sure on final numbers before she left.

I can't make the 5th now as I won't have a car and am not brave enough to do the public transport thing! So please subtract us from the final total.

Hopefully some of us will still be able to meet for the Southampton date...

Have fun everyone

I was hoping that I would be well enough to go but im really worried I wont be! I have a perfarated eardrum and I am still suffering from vertigo because of it so wont be in a fit state to drive. :(
I will let you know if I can go but I think I will have to say no for now cos im not getting any better fast. :(

I am having a few girls round that evening if anyone wants to join me. I am having a pampered chef's party at 7.30pm if anyone is close enough and would like to come. PM me for my address. xxx
