I've had a culinary burst of energy this week - well, 3 out of 5 dinners, that counts as a burst for me!
I have been using the 30 minute cook...because it actually does what it says on the tin. My pet hate is recipes that give times, when you actually spend 3 times as long as that making the sodding thing - because they don't allow for cack-handed chopping/peeling etc etc.
And last night's chorizo & chickpea stew was lovely, and done in about 20 mins actually.
I also like Nigel Slater because he cooks real food, with things you're likely to have in your cupboard, or would normally buy.
