Sunscreen for the Face

Best high chair? (We all know it's the Ikea one really but refusniks will bring us tales of Tripp-Trappery and booster seats). Have you discovered an excellent finger food snack, toothbrush, bib or more importantly A Lipstick That Really Does Stay On?

Sunscreen for the Face

Just wondering what you guys have found most useful for this? It seems every brand of sunscreen I try runs into their eyes when they sweat or get water on their faces. Of course, this means the sunscreen stings their eyes.
Can anyone recommend a brand which does not run or sting?

I'd like to see the sun before I worry too much about sunscreen!

Although we use nivea at the moment at it's perfectly fine, I've not had any complaints from them.

We use zinc based stuff - way thicker so the boys aren't huge fans but I like the more natural approach with a physical barrier rather than chemical and the added bonus is that it doesn't seem to run into eyes. Moo Goo is my main one but I think that might be Australian only.

I found this quite useful but I don't know about availability of brands over by you...

Nivea is fine for B but stings A's eyes. They both seem fine with Banana Boat.

I wear sunscreen every day on my face and use Boots Soltan or ROC, both specifically face sunscreens.

I got a baby no tears one (Banana Boat brand) because of the same problem. It seems to be fine so far.

Thanks, all. I think I can get the banana boat one here in Ireland, so I might try that. Emzit, I didn't realise you can buy them with a zinc base. I'll have to look into that more.
We are off to Italy next week so right now it's just a case of buy whatever I can in the shops. Last summer she wouldn't wear sunscreen on her face at all - it was too painful. Anything is better than nothing.

Thanks, p_h, there's some good options there. Plus, I love that she describes it as "basting" her children.
