Need a long sleeve bib rec

Best high chair? (We all know it's the Ikea one really but refusniks will bring us tales of Tripp-Trappery and booster seats). Have you discovered an excellent finger food snack, toothbrush, bib or more importantly A Lipstick That Really Does Stay On?

Need a long sleeve bib rec

Postby Dans » 06 Jan 2016, 21:08

Hi

I'm looking for a long sleeve bib for my 6 month old baby. I bought one from Tesco but it is so big on her that it won't velcro up without a gaping hole at the neck. Any suggestions of one that will fit a 6 month old. The Tesco one said 'one size.

Thanks

JoJo Maman Bebe do good ones that come in several sizes. My LO is quite petite but has been fine in the 0-12mo size since she started eating.

I used Bibetta bibs. They do them with and without sleeves. They were great and lasted really well.

We used the Tescos ones but always with a Bibetta over the top (didn't know they did sleeved ones!). Doubling up helps most versions of mess!!

I found pound land's long sleeved bibs to be the best for younger babies. Quite small fitting, soft, flexible, without elasticated cuffs. Oh and cheep!

We double bibbed as well: a small terry cloth bib first, right around her neck, and then an ikea long sleeved bib over it with the sleeves rolled up.

We doubled up too, but with a longsleeved Tesco or Sainsbury one, with a silicon roll-up one over the top - C dropped a LOT of food en route to her mouth amd it ended up being an intermediate plate.

Anyone used close parent long sleeved bibs, specifically the stage 3 (6-18mo) ? Resisting buying yet more bibs as we emptied ikeas supply of the long sleeved ones for Moo, but E is just too small, basically have to roll the sleeves up to the armpit which is just ridiculous. And I don't like cloth ones after them going all manky with Moo. My other options are bibetta and jojo maman Bebe, but close parent have a sale on (don't go and buy them out before I can!).

Thanks for the salwar kameez tips, I tried one on my 9 month old, it was a little big so I couldn't actually see her and she couldn't eat anything, however she did manage to rub all her dinner on it, can you tell me how to get the stains out?
