Toddler laptop type thing

Best high chair? (We all know it's the Ikea one really but refusniks will bring us tales of Tripp-Trappery and booster seats). Have you discovered an excellent finger food snack, toothbrush, bib or more importantly A Lipstick That Really Does Stay On?

Can anyone recommend one for a 3 year old?

SM loves playing on the iPad and is fairly competent at finding her own things and using them so we wondered about her having a very basic version/toy version of her own for Christmas. Don't want anything complex or expensive just something she can play games on, listen to stories or something like that.

I've been wondering the same thing, as C is always swiping my iPad or my phone. I haven't really investigated tabs that are expressly for kids, but the Amazon Fire basic is £50, with front and rear facing cameras, wifi and an SD slot (up to 128Gb) so you can download iPlayer programmes and Amazon films and TV (if you are a Prime member). I'm still not convinced that a 3 year old needs a tab, but it would also be a good back up if one of ours gives up the ghost if we can wrestle it out of her paws...

Also, I would wait until Black Friday, as Amazon knocked a few quid off their tabs last year.

Yeah I know what you mean. She seems too young to have one. I guess I wasn't really thinking of anything as grown up as a kindle or iPad, I'm sure leapfrog or someone like that must do something

I think I was thinking of something like Innotab or Leappad.

Anyone any experience of either of these?

We have an old leappad passed down to us which my dd has had since 3. You can get an inexpensive 2nd hand one and lots of games in a bundle from ebay. She would play on it for hours if we didn't limit it. For christmas we're actually buying her a second hand grown up tablet. Tescos own branded one, I can't remember the name. But its about £30 on ebay. Its very basic, but will let us put on plenty of apps for her.
