Interesting. My dd loves plain air popped corn but I can't remember when I started giving it to her. Ds is almost 19 months now & I've held off thinking it is chokey but maybe I'll try him on it!

Thanks everyone! Glad to know that it isn't out of the ordinary to give popcorn. I'll probably continue breaking it up for him for now just to be extra-safe. Maybe once his molars finish coming in I'll let him try whole pieces and see how he does.
