Omg in the last few days dd has voluntarily tried....

Oh, we're done with all that vegetable-steaming and mess, our children are cutlery-wielding, spaghetti-chomping angels... at least some of the time.

Omg in the last few days dd has voluntarily tried....

...... Carrot, cauliflower and mushroom and declared that she likes them :D :D

Not much of each but very very pleased.

Wanted to share and say KEEP THE FAITH!

She just turned 3.

Used to scoff everything when she was a baby and then gradually went off loads and loads of veg so I'm really pleased about this!

Hurraaaay for little flower!

Son has had various moments of exciting adventurousness with food recently too, I can't think of any examples right now, but he is flat out refusing a lot less these days.

Oh yeah, the other day he had cabbage, CABBAGE! or erm.... "seaweed" for some reason that made it more appealing :D

And I should add - he ate up all the cabbage and barely touched the pasta! who'd have thought there'd be such a day.

We had fish and chips on Friday. The snack box was still on the table from earlier, P saw it and said 'I like some carrot'. DH blames her English blood.
They also like eating salad. Though admittedly this may be more that they like helping themselves with the salad spoons, and then licking off the dressing, but it makes me feel a tiny bit smug.
However, spinach, peas, cabbage and potatoes have all been off this week.
