How had I forgotten?

Oh, we're done with all that vegetable-steaming and mess, our children are cutlery-wielding, spaghetti-chomping angels... at least some of the time.

FROZEN PEAS!!!
Simply place on high chair tray of hungry, whiney child and get on with making dinner. Sanity saver last time and working a treat this time round too :D

We've also found them do be a fantastic convenience food!! I still soak them in water for a few minutes for Tiger to defrost them a little, but doubt I'll need to do that much longer.

I have a friend whose mum used to use them as a bargaining tool. "If you do your homework right now you can have a cup of frozen peas..."

Apparently my friend and her brother would do whatever they were told for a cup of frozen peas!! :OD
