Oh, we're done with all that vegetable-steaming and mess, our children are cutlery-wielding, spaghetti-chomping angels... at least some of the time.

Nottingham parents and carers: Please help us to develop our research project on weaning.

Researchers at The University of Nottingham are seeking parents/carers to take part in a focus group on weaning.
What is it? We will meet as a group to find out about your experiences of/concerns about weaning and ask what you think about our ideas for a research project on different weaning methods (spoon-feeding and baby-led weaning). The discussion will be recorded for analysis.

Who is if for? Parents or carers who live in the Nottinghamshire area and are soon to introduce solid foods to their child and parents or carers of small children (aged 2 or younger) who are eating solid foods.

Where is it? The event will be held at The University of Nottingham in a room which is accessible for pushchairs. (You are welcome to bring children to the event.)

When is it? The event will be held on Tues 11th September 2012 from 10-12. We will provide lunch and can pay a fee of £30 and cover travel expenses.

Interested in taking part and helping to shape the future of weaning resarch at Nottingham? Please call Ellen Townsend on 0115 8467305 or email Ellen.Townsend@nottingham.ac.uk. (Please note that places are limited.)
