Gagging again?

Oh, we're done with all that vegetable-steaming and mess, our children are cutlery-wielding, spaghetti-chomping angels... at least some of the time.

Gagging again?

Postby babydsmummy » 30 Jun 2012, 19:21

J has been gagging again the last couple of days, having not done so for a few weeks. Has anyone else found that it comes back? Nothing major, but it's causing some coughing and spluttering. It is happening both with food and drinks. TBH I hadn't really noticed it had stopped till it started again, but thinking about it it has been better since he came out of hospital and his chest was clearer. He has got a cold again now - could it be related?

PS I still don't feel like J belongs in the toddler bit, but I'm not sure a nearly 13 month old is 'new to blw' either!

Yes. Both times it happened when they really started eating for hunger. K was trying to swallow too quickly before chewing enough. G was cramming too much in at once (again!).

Oh, and I wouldn't have put either of mine in the Toddler section at 13 months - neither of them could walk!
