Undercooked/raw eggs - when??

Oh, we're done with all that vegetable-steaming and mess, our children are cutlery-wielding, spaghetti-chomping angels... at least some of the time.

Undercooked/raw eggs - when??

Does anyone know when you can introduce uncooked eggs? I like making my own ice cream (and will once bump number 2 has emerged) and wandered if it's safe for Munchie who is almost 2!

Mummy to my two miracle baby girls - The Thunder Fairies. Munchie born May 2010 and Ickle Pickle born July 2012.

If you are using lion marked eggs, the risk of salmonella is almost 0, so I would go ahead.

I thought the rule of thumb was over a year but as bc said I have been a bit blade with runny eggs this pregnancy as the risk is so small!

I couldn't find any definitive answer about this when I was looking for Roo so I started giving him soft boiled eggs at a year old (not that he actually eats them!)

Ice cream at 2 should be fine though.
Mum to Roo born Feb 2011 and Wee One born April 2014 - each one a miracle.
